No Firing on PTI Protesters, Says Information Minister.

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, stated that no firing was carried out on PTI protesters, confirming that there were no fatalities among them. During his visit to the D-Chowk and Jinnah Avenue in Islamabad overnight, he emphasized that the PTI is resorting to baseless propaganda to avoid embarrassment. He clarified that, although the protesters were dispersed, there was no state firing involved.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister noted the deserted vehicles left behind by the protesters, indicating damage to public property. He expressed confusion over the protesters’ objectives, questioning the purpose of their actions.

The Minister also criticized the PTI leadership, accusing them of making grand claims and then abandoning the protest site. He specifically mentioned that both Bushra Bibi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur fled the scene together in the same vehicle.
