Nomination Process Concludes for KP Village Council By-Elections

Peshawar: The process of submitting nomination papers for the third by-elections on vacant seats in Village Councils across various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been successfully completed.

According to Radio Pakistan, a total of one hundred and fifty-five candidates have submitted their nomination papers for nine hundred and thirteen vacant seats. The scrutiny of these nomination papers commenced today and is scheduled to be completed by Thursday.

Candidates whose papers are either accepted or rejected will have the opportunity to file appeals from the 20th to the 23rd of this month. The final list of candidates is set to be released on the 30th of this month, with polling slated to take place on the 19th of the next month.
