Objections regarding Karachi Metropolitan Corporation plots located on University Road unjustified: Metropolitan Commissioner

Karachi, May 17, 2013 (PPI-OT): KMC Metropolitan Commissioner Matanat Ali Khan has said that it was considered while keeping KMC plots for auction that no water and sewerage utility line was going under those plots and in this connection report under master plan of that location was taken from concerned Executive Engineer of KWSB so that no ambiguity will remain.

This was not true about auction of three plots located on University Road near Old Sabzi Mandi Askari Park by KMC Land Department that conduit lines of water and sewerage board were going under those plots.

He said it was decided to auction the plots 2-B/A, 2-B/B and 2-B/C after verification by KWSB Executive Engineer W.T.M-II Rizwan Ahsan that conduit lines were going on distance of 1500 feet far from boundaries of those plots therefore objections in this regard were unjustified.
