OGDCL Discovers New Natural Gas Reserves in Khairpur, Sindh.

Khairpur: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, has discovered natural gas reserves in the Khairpur district of Sindh. The newly discovered well is projected to produce approximately ten million cubic feet of gas per day, which is expected to contribute to alleviating the country’s existing gas shortage.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, OGDCL, with the facilitation of SIFC, has also initiated oil and gas production from recently discovered reserves in the Sanghar district of Sindh. This development marks a significant step in enhancing the country’s self-reliance in energy production and addressing the challenges related to energy supply.
