Jeddah: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met the Secretary General of OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah today. He highlighted Pakistan’s strong condemnation of Israel’s recognition of Somaliland and its unwavering support for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Somalia.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar categorically rejected any proposal for the dislocation of Palestinians and reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled position on Palestine. He urged the OIC Secretary General to intensify efforts for the realization of the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
The OIC Secretary General commended Pakistan’s consistent and constructive role at OIC in advocating for the causes central to the Muslim Ummah.
