The resolution affirmed full support for Somalia’s sovereignty and expressed unwavering solidarity with its government.

In another resolution adopted by the session, the OIC reaffirmed that a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace in the Middle East is contingent upon Israel’s complete withdrawal from all Palestinian territories occupied since 1967. The resolution further called for the consolidation and sustainability of the ceasefire, cessation of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, and advancement to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement as outlined in the Security Council Resolution.
