OIC Education Leaders Resolve to Enhance Inter-University Collaboration

Islamabad: The education leaders belonging to Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states have expressed resolve to enhance inter-university collaboration in diverse fields. The determination was expressed during the annual meeting of the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, they expressed the resolve to enhance inter-university collaborations in critical areas such as science, technology, health, and higher education to address the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.

The COMSTECH introduced a two-phased Action Plan on Improving University Rankings through Educational Reforms, aiming to address the gaps in global visibility of universities in OIC member states.

The proposed plan focuses on developing and strengthening Institutional Quality Assurance Frameworks (IQAF) and building capacity to enhance visibility in international university rankings.
