OIC Reiterates Support for Kashmiris’ Right to Self-Determination

Jeddah: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has reiterated its strong support for the right to self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement, the OIC General Secretariat urged India to respect the fundamental human rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The statement highlighted the need for a final settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The OIC called on the international community to ensure the implementation of these resolutions, emphasizing the importance of addressing the long-standing issue to uphold the rights of the people in the region.
