Islamabad: A senior Pakistani security official has announced that ‘Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq’ will persist until the Afghan Taliban government provides verifiable assurances that it will cease support for Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan. The official emphasized that the Afghan Taliban must choose whether to align with Pakistan or continue backing terrorist groups operating from their territory.
According to Radio Pakistan, the duration of Pakistan’s operations will be dictated by the Afghan Taliban government’s actions. The official conveyed that Pakistan is not rushing to conclude the operation, highlighting that the Afghan Taliban government is allegedly supporting various terrorist groups, which undermines regional peace. Additionally, he accused the Afghan government of promoting a war economy under the guise of a distorted religious ideology driven by vested interests and financial gains.

The official stressed that Pakistan is fully capable of defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity, citing the recent Marka e Haq and ongoing war against terrorism. He assured that Pakistan’s Armed Forces, with national support, will counter any hostile plots.
