Organic Meat Company Expands Production Capacity to Meet Rising Demand in China

Karachi: The Organic Meat Company Limited has completed the second phase of its expansion, significantly enhancing its production capabilities to address the increasing demand for frozen cooked beef in the People’s Republic of China, where the company maintains a robust market presence. This development is crucial for its strategic growth and positioning in the Chinese market.

On this Wednesday, the company disclosed that the recent expansion has augmented its production by an additional 300 Metric Tons (MT) per month. This increase is specifically targeted at the production of frozen cooked beef, a segment where demand has shown substantial growth. The completion aligns with The Organic Meat Company Limited’s efforts to strengthen its foothold in international markets, particularly in China.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this expansion was conducted under the compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of PSX Regulations. It is deemed a material event that warrants immediate dissemination to all shareholders and TRE Certificate holders of the company.

The expansion is part of The Organic Meat Company Limited’s broader strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing production capacity to leverage growing market opportunities abroad, ensuring sustained growth and value addition for its stakeholders.
