Outgoing Chinese Consul General Lauds Naqvi’s Contribution to Pak-China Ties

Lahore: The outgoing Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren met the Interior Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore today. During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to Zhao Shiren for his services as the Consul General and expressed best wishes for him.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chinese Consul General praised Mohsin Naqvi’s leadership, saying he played a valuable role in enhancing Pakistan-China relations. On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi presented Zhao Shiren with a cricket bat signed by Pakistani players, symbolizing the growing camaraderie and partnership between the two nations.

In a gesture of goodwill, the Chinese Consul General gifted Mohsin Naqvi a book authored by Chinese President Xi Jinping, furthering the bond of cultural and diplomatic exchange. Both leaders emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and friendship between Pakistan and China, underscoring the mutual benefits of their strategic partnership.
