Karachi: Over 60,000 youth have been trained under Alkhidmat Foundation’s Bano Qabil initiative. He emphasized the importance of youth empowerment for the country’s sustainable progress and development, highlighting the pivotal role young people play as Pakistan’s most valuable asset.
According to Radio Pakistan, Zikrullah Mujahid detailed the Bano Qabil initiative in an exclusive interview with correspondent Qasim Bukhari on International Youth Day. He stressed the need to harness the energy, creativity, and potential of the younger generation to build a prosperous future for the nation.
The Bano Qabil programme, a flagship initiative of Alkhidmat Foundation, offers approximately 28 market-driven computer and IT skill courses free of charge to young men and women across Pakistan. Zikrullah underscored the programme’s core objective of equipping the youth with digital skills necessary for economic upliftment.
Zikrullah Mujahid noted that the Bano Qabil initiative is now recognized as the largest IT scholarship programme in Pakistan. By offering advanced training in emerging technologies, the programme aims to prepare youth for a globally competitive digital economy, contributing to their ability to earn a respectable livelihood.
