PAA Rejects Reports Regarding Outsourcing of Islamabad Airport

Karachi: Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has categorically stated that recent reports claiming the approval of a financial bid by TERG Consortium for outsourcing of Islamabad International Airport are unauthentic and misleading. In a statement, the Authority said the matter is currently undergoing due process and no decision has been made or approved by Pakistan Airports Authority at this stage.

According to Radio Pakistan, the statement further stated that Pakistan Airports Authority emphasizes that any official announcement regarding the process will be made in due course and urges the media to refrain from such misreporting which may be detrimental to critical national matters.
