Package to Revive Sick Industrial Units Announced

Islamabad: Special Assistant on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar has announced that a package will be introduced to revive sick industrial units. This initiative is part of a broader effort to stimulate economic growth and job creation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Haroon Akhtar addressed a meeting in Islamabad, highlighting the Prime Minister’s support for the package. He stated that he has been tasked with formulating the package to address the challenges faced by ailing industrial units.

The revival of these units is expected to play a crucial role in generating employment opportunities. In addition, Akhtar mentioned that his efforts would focus on ensuring that businesses have access to credit and long-term financing, which are essential for sustainable growth and development.
