Pak Agro Packaging Ltd Announces 3rd Annual General Meeting

Karachi: Pak Agro Packaging Ltd is set to conduct its 3rd Annual General Meeting on October 15, 2024, at its registered office in KPK, with options for shareholders to also attend online, enhancing participation accessibility. The meeting agenda includes the adoption of audited financial accounts for the year ended June 30, 2024, board elections, and the reappointment of the current auditors.

The company will focus on ordinary business such as adopting the latest audited financial statements, accompanied by directors’ and auditors’ reports, and the election of board members for the upcoming tenure. Furthermore, the meeting will address the appointment and remuneration of auditors, with the retiring auditors, Masoom Akhter and Co., expressing their willingness to continue in their role.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s share transfer books will remain closed from October 14 to October 16, 2024. During this period, no share transfers will be registered. All transfer deeds must be submitted by the close of business on October 13 to be eligible for any legal entitlements.

In a bid to accommodate modern conveniences and broaden shareholder involvement, Pak Agro Packaging has established procedures for online participation. Shareholders can join the meeting virtually by completing registration and verification processes by October 10, 2024. The company has urged shareholders to update their contact details to facilitate the smooth delivery of all communication.

Additionally, the company has made its audited financial statements for the year and quarterly reports available online, with hard copies offered upon request.

The meeting will also provide a platform for transacting any additional business with the approval of the Chair, ensuring comprehensive engagement with all attending shareholders.
