Pak Army Helicopter Crashes During Take-Off Near Muzaffarabad

Muzaffarabad: An Mi-17 helicopter of Pakistan Army Aviation crashed near Muzaffarabad today during take-off due to a technical fault.

According to Radio Pakistan, all personnel on board embraced Shahadat, with no survivors reported. Rescue and recovery teams were dispatched immediately to the crash site. A board of inquiry has been ordered to determine the exact technical cause of the accident.

Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with all ranks of Pakistan Army, expressed deep grief over the tragic loss of lives and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
