Pak army playing valuable role in UN peacekeeping missions

Pakistan Army is playing a valuable role in UN peacekeeping missions and rendering its professional services in peacekeeping operations worldwide.

Over two hundred thirty five thousand Pakistani soldiers have served in around forty eight UN missions in twenty nine countries.

Pakistan’ involvement has been significant, with a notable presence in many peacekeeping missions.

As per the principles of the United Nations, Pakistan being a responsible country provides full support and access to peace observers to fulfill their mandate.

Over the past decades, UN peacekeepers have saved countless precious lives for global peace and security and Pakistani peacekeeping contingent are playing an important role in fulfilling the UN peacekeeping mission with great dedication.

The world is cognizant of Pakistan’s efforts of establishing peace at the global level.
