Lahore: The Pakistan China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI), in collaboration with the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Lahore, the Information and Culture Department of the Government of Punjab, and ARQ Group of Companies, is set to host the Pak-China Love Festival. The two-day cultural and trade event will take place on October 18th and 19th at Hall # 1, Expo Centre Lahore, with the aim of highlighting the cultural, business, and entertainment ties between Pakistan and China.
Nazir Hussain, President of PCJCCI, emphasized that the festival will showcase both the similarities and unique aspects of Chinese and Pakistani culture. He described the event as a manifestation of the longstanding friendship between the two countries, aiming to foster love and unity through cultural exchange and collaboration. The festival will feature a concert and Qawali night, highlighting the musical traditions of both nations to promote cross-cultural appreciation.
Amir Rafiq Qureshi, CEO of ARQ Group of Companies, announced that attendees will be treated to an array of food stalls offering authentic Pakistani and Chinese cuisine. This culinary showcase will provide visitors the opportunity to enjoy traditional dishes and experience the culinary artistry of both cultures.
Brigadier Mansoor Saeed Sheikh (Retd), Senior Vice President of PCJCCI, noted the festival’s potential to enhance bilateral trade relations. By serving as a platform for businesses and investors, the event aims to open new opportunities for economic collaboration between Pakistan and China.
Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General of PCJCCI, assured that the festival will offer an unforgettable experience for all attendees, including families, food enthusiasts, music lovers, and cultural connoisseurs.
