Pak-China Vocational Education Center Unveiled in Beijing

Beijing: A new center dedicated to technical and vocational education, named the China-Pakistan Technical and Vocational Education and Training Industrial Center of Excellence, has been launched at the Belt and Road Digital Education Development Forum. The initiative aims to bolster educational ties between China and Pakistan, focusing on providing advanced vocational training to students from both nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the project is spearheaded by the China Pakistan International Industrial Academic Integration Alliance. Ammar Muhammad, the Secretary General of the alliance, emphasized that industry-specific committees have been established to offer students exceptional internship and employment opportunities. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the economic development of Pakistan by meeting the demand for skilled talent from both Chinese companies investing in Pakistan and local enterprises.

The alliance has successfully attracted participation from over three hundred universities and colleges and more than eighty enterprises in both China and Pakistan. This collaboration aims to provide vocational training across various key sectors, enhancing the skill set of students and preparing them for the workforce.
