Paris: The Embassy of Pakistan in France held an event today to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day, with Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressing staunch support for the Kashmiri people’s quest for self-determination.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Baloch emphasized the peaceful nature of the Kashmiri freedom movement, countering efforts by India to undermine its legitimacy. She reiterated the movement’s foundation on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.
Ambassador Baloch urged India to take substantive action towards the implementation of UNSC resolutions concerning Jammu and Kashmir. She also lauded the contributions of the Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora in France for their continued advocacy of the Kashmir cause.
