Pak, France Reaffirm Commitment to Global Peace, Security

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and France have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation and dialogue, with a shared focus on promoting international peace and security. This commitment was underscored during consultations on United Nations Security Council matters held in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions were co-chaired by Le Fraper du Hellen, Director for UN Affairs of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Syed Haider Shah, Additional Foreign Secretary for UN and OIC Affairs of Pakistan. The meeting highlighted the importance of continued constructive engagement between the two nations as members of the UN Security Council, aiming to strengthen multilateralism and effectively address global challenges.

Both countries expressed their resolve to work collaboratively on international platforms to advance peace and security initiatives, reflecting their shared goals and responsibilities within the global community.
