Pak-Saudi Agreements Strengthen Fraternal Ties, Says Deputy PM Dar

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar heralded the signing of several agreements with Saudi Arabia as a milestone that will solidify the fraternal relations between the two nations. The agreements, covering various sectors, were signed today in Islamabad, marking a significant step in bilateral cooperation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Dar lauded the reconstruction and rehabilitation projects currently being implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Pakistan. He expressed profound gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its substantial support, not only in the context of the recent agreements but also for its assistance in concluding the IMF program and the ongoing recovery efforts from the catastrophic floods of 2022.

Dar emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s backing is crucial for Pakistan’s capacity to manage recovery and rehabilitation activities following national disasters, reinforcing the deep-seated bonds of friendship and cooperation that characterize the relationship between the two countries.
