Pak-Saudi Defence Pact to Serve as Foundation for Peace: Ihsan

Islamabad: Coordinator to the Prime Minister Rana Ihsan Afzal has emphasized that the newly signed Pakistan-Saudi defence pact would serve as a foundation for peace and prosperity in South Asia and the Middle East.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ihsan stated in a discussion with a private news channel that the agreement will also open the door for other Arab countries to join. He highlighted that the pact strengthens regional stability by creating a unified front.

He further mentioned that India or any other country will have to rethink before any misadventure as they would face not just one nation but the combined weight of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. This strategic alliance is seen as a deterrent against potential threats in the region.
