Islamabad, January 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): A team of Pakistan American Expo and Festival led by Mr.Shahab Qarni, President/CEO Bankers Resource Group USA visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) for discussing the purpose of organizing Pakistan America Trade Expo in Washington D.C, USA from September 13 to 16, 2013.
Mr.Shahab Qarni informed the meeting that exhibition will have representation of the leading business and commerce sectors of Pakistan and will provide a grand and unique opportunity for the businessman from both countries to meet, discuss and create new avenue.
He said that the event would also provide a platform for Pakistanis and their foreign counterparts to do business. Several activities have been planned for the fair, including seminars, mega concert, fashion shows, entertainment and a lot more. The exhibition is expected to bring together some two hundred (200) businesses from US, Pakistan and several other countries, he added.
Mr.Shahab Qarni said that Pakistan American Expo and Festival team also intended to showcase the achievements and success stories by trade industry of Pakistan along with, introducing the options for USA based investors which would enhance bilateral business ties as well as honor the entrepreneurial spirit of both nations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Zafar Bakhtawari, President ICCI appreciated the initiative of Pakistan American Expo and Festival team and said that this event would defiantly portray the positive image of Pakistan and promote trade exports.
President ICCI said that economy is the key for stability of a country and a strong force to keep a country united, therefore, Pakistan and US must focus on strengthening their economic ties.
He cited the example of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Industry which had played dynamic role for turning around the Turkish economy, similarly, ICCI is well aware of its role to boost the economy of Pakistan and bring political stability in the country.
