Karachi: Pakgen Power Limited has successfully credited a 30% second interim cash dividend for the half-year ended June 30, 2024, directly into the bank accounts of its shareholders. This distribution, which amounts to Rs. 3 per share, was officially approved by the Board of Directors on August 28, 2024, and credited today, September 20, 2024.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this recent dividend follows a 20% first interim cash dividend, marking a consistent return to shareholders throughout the fiscal period. The dividends were deposited electronically to shareholders who provided valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) and International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN) with complete banking details.
Shareholders who have not updated their bank account details, including providing a valid CNIC and IBAN, have had their dividends withheld. Pakgen Power urges these shareholders to contact the company’s Share Registrar in Karachi to update their records and receive their dividends. This process underscores the company’s adherence to regulatory requirements and commitment to ensuring that all dividends are disbursed promptly and securely.
