Pakistan, ADB Sign Three Significant Projects for Infrastructure Development

Islamabad: Pakistan and the Asian Development Bank have signed three agreements related to roads and infrastructure development. These agreements focus on project readiness financing for the ML-1 Karachi-Rohri section, project readiness financing for the Quetta Bus Rapid Transit, and additional financing for the Balochistan Water Resources Development Sector Project.

According to Radio Pakistan, Country Director Emma Fenn from the ADB and the Secretaries of Economic Affairs and Railways of Pakistan signed the projects in Islamabad today. The Country Director praised the government of Pakistan for its commitment to these projects and reiterated the ADB’s intention to continue cooperation with Pakistan.
