Pakistan Aims to Strengthen Bilateral Relations with Tajikistan

Islamabad: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, met with Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s intention to enhance its bilateral relations with Tajikistan across multiple areas.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of fostering close cooperation between the private sectors of both countries. He highlighted a shared goal of increasing Pakistan-Tajikistan bilateral trade to five hundred million dollars. Additionally, Dar mentioned the anticipation of several high-level engagements with Tajikistan scheduled for the following year.
