Pakistan and Azerbaijan Commit to Strengthen Trade and Investment Relations

Khankendi: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have agreed to enhance their cooperation in the fields of trade and investment. This agreement was reached during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the ECO Summit.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the progress made regarding the investment prospects between the two countries. They reiterated their resolve to strengthen the economic partnership, with a particular focus on Azerbaijan’s investment in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the recent interactions between the leadership of both countries have contributed significantly to strengthening the bilateral relationship. Additionally, Shehbaz Sharif extended an invitation to President Ilham Aliyev to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience, further indicating the commitment to enhancing ties.
