Pakistan and Azerbaijan Sign MoU to Enhance Legal Cooperation

Baku: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in the legal and judicial field. The agreement was finalized during a visit by Pakistan’s Law Minister, Azam Nazeer Tarar, to Baku, Azerbaijan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Federal Minister engaged in high-level meetings with Azerbaijan’s senior leadership, including a meeting with Prime Minister Ali Asadov. Both leaders highlighted the significance of legal diplomacy in boosting bilateral cooperation.

Azam Nazeer Tarar also met with Azerbaijan’s Minister for Justice, Farid Ahmadov, where discussions centered on institutional exchanges and the rule of law. Additionally, the Law Minister held talks with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov. Their discussions addressed judicial reforms, the digitalization of the judicial system, and the strengthening of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
