Pakistan and Belarus Explore New Joint Ventures in Industry and Agriculture

Islamabad: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal has advocated for the creation of joint ventures between Pakistan and Belarus, focusing on the industrial and agricultural sectors. The proposal was made during the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission held in Islamabad, where Kamal highlighted the potential benefits such as strengthening industrial capabilities, creating jobs, and facilitating technology exchange.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Kamal addressed the commission on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of these partnerships for economic growth and mutual prosperity. He invited Belarusian investors to consider the vast opportunities available in Pakistan, particularly noting that the Special Investment Facilitation Council aims to streamline and enhance foreign investment in critical areas like agriculture, energy, technology, and infrastructure.

Furthermore, Kamal stressed the need for quick finalization of the draft memorandum on cooperation in environmental protection and advocated for increased cultural exchanges, educational partnerships, and people-to-people contacts to deepen bilateral ties between the two nations.
