Pakistan and Belgium Discuss Enhancing Collaboration in Trade, Culture, and Science

BRUSSELS: Pakistan and Belgium have engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing their collaboration across various sectors, including trade, culture, and science. The 3rd session of the Pakistan-Belgium Bilateral Political Consultations was held in Brussels, with both nations expressing satisfaction over their current bilateral relations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was led by Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe) Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan for Pakistan, and Director General for Bilateral Affairs Ambassador Jeroen Cooreman for Belgium. The discussions covered a comprehensive review of cooperation in political relations, trade and investment, academic and cultural exchanges, consular matters, and science and technology collaboration.

The dialogue also addressed the partnership between Pakistan and Belgium in multilateral forums and regional platforms. Both sides emphasized the significance of timely consultations to advance their shared bilateral agenda.
