Pakistan and Belgium Engage in Dialogue on South Asian Security

Brussels: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, recently held a significant meeting with senior Belgian journalist Steven Decraene. The discussions focused on a range of global and regional issues, emphasizing peace and security within the South Asian region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Qureshi also engaged in a dialogue with Pol De Witte, the director general of the EU-based think-tank Egmont Institute. The meeting concentrated on regional and global developments of mutual interest, with the ambassador providing insights into the current peace and security situation in South Asia. Both sides explored potential avenues for enhancing collaboration between the Egmont Institute and think tanks in Pakistan, aiming to strengthen their partnership in addressing regional challenges.
