Pakistan and Canada to Enhance Cooperation in Key Sectors

Islamabad: Canadian High Commissioner Tarik Ali Khan met with Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in Islamabad today. The meeting focused on mutual interests, with both parties keen on elevating bilateral cooperation in significant areas.

According to Radio Pakistan, both Pakistan and Canada expressed their commitment to strengthen ties in sectors like trade, investment, education, and capacity building. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underscored the importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation and identified significant opportunities in expanding trade and economic partnerships between the two nations.

High Commissioner Tarik Ali Khan acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in promoting democratic values and institutional development. He expressed Canada’s enthusiasm for expanding collaborative efforts with Pakistan, particularly in education, investment, and capacity building.
