Pakistan and China Discuss Bilateral Relations at SCO Meeting

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic. The two leaders held a warm and productive exchange of views on bilateral relations, regional developments, and cooperation within multilateral forums.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Foreign Minister Wang Yi for acknowledging Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting regional peace and stability, as highlighted in his remarks at the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers. During the meeting, the Chinese Foreign Minister extended his best wishes to Pakistan for its forthcoming Chairmanship of the SCO Council of Heads of State (CHS) and the hosting of the SCO Summit in 2027.
