Pakistan and China Emphasize Regional Cooperation for Afghan Stability

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China underscored the importance of neighboring countries in ensuring a peaceful and stable Afghanistan during a series of diplomatic meetings in Islamabad. Chinese Special Envoy on Afghan Affairs, Ambassador Yue Xiaoyong, met with Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch and engaged in detailed consultations with Additional Foreign Secretary for Afghanistan and West Asia, Ambassador Ahmad Naseem Warraich.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions focused on the critical role that countries bordering Afghanistan can play in supporting the region’s peace efforts. Both sides reiterated their commitment to fostering collaboration among Afghanistan’s neighbors to promote stability and security in the region.
