Pakistan and China Enhance Counter-Terrorism Collaboration

Islamabad: Pakistan and China have agreed to enhance their cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad to discuss bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest, emphasizing the need for strengthened security collaboration.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chinese Ambassador expressed his condolences over the recent suicide bombing in Islamabad, condemning the attack and the loss of lives. Both parties underscored the importance of bolstering security ties to address shared challenges.

Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that the relationship between Pakistan and China is rooted in mutual trust and respect. He noted that China has consistently been a reliable ally, supporting Pakistan in challenging times. The Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s commitment to maintaining comprehensive cooperation with Pakistan.
