Pakistan and China Pledge to Enhance Bilateral Relations

Beijing: Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations during a meeting between Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting took place in Beijing, where Ahsan Iqbal expressed appreciation for China’s unwavering support for Pakistan amidst recent tensions with India. He also commended China’s leadership for its constructive role in promoting global peace. Iqbal highlighted that the friendship between Pakistan and China continues to grow stronger with each passing day and cited China’s development model as an inspiration for Pakistan.

Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong reiterated China’s strong commitment to enhancing cooperation with Pakistan across various sectors. The discussions during the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, particularly emphasizing the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
