Pakistan and China Strengthen Police Training and Security Cooperation

Islamabad: Pakistan and China have agreed to enhance cooperation in police training exchange programs and in modern technology and equipment. This agreement was reached during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and the Chinese Vice Minister of Public Security in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, it was also agreed that China would assist Pakistan in establishing a modern Law Enforcement Centre. Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the Law Enforcement Centre will be another shining symbol of Pakistan-China friendship, adding that China’s AI-based technology and modern equipment can greatly help Pakistan address security challenges.

The Interior Minister expressed Pakistan’s desire to further expand cooperation with China in the field of internal security. The Chinese Vice Minister of Public Security praised Pakistan’s sacrifices and firm commitment in the fight against terrorism.
