Pakistan and France Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Islamabad: Pakistan and France have reiterated their resolve to further strengthen bilateral ties and enhance cooperation across all shared priorities. The understanding to this effect was reached during bilateral consultations between the two countries in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Additional Secretary Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan represented Pakistan, while Deputy Secretary General of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, David Bertolotti, represented France. The two sides reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation under the Pakistan-France Bilateral Roadmap for Cooperation 2023.

They expressed satisfaction with the roadmap’s implementation in key areas, including trade and investment, education, culture, and consular matters. The discussions also covered regional and global developments, with both countries pledging to maintain close coordination on issues of mutual interest.
