Pakistan and Iraq Agree to Expand Defence and Security Ties

Rawalpindi: Commander Iraqi Air Force, Lieutenant General Muhannad Ghalib Muhammad Radi Al-Asadi, has called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi. During the meeting, both dignitaries reaffirmed resolve to further expand defence and security cooperation between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the visiting dignitary appreciated the professional standards of the Pakistan Armed Forces, their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, and their continued efforts towards regional peace and stability.
