Pakistan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Bilateral Ties During Third Round of Consultations

Islamabad: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations following the Third Round of Bilateral Political Consultations held in Islamabad. The discussions, led by Additional Foreign Secretary (Afghanistan & West Asia) Ambassador Ahmad Naseem Warraich for Pakistan and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Ambassador Alibek Bakayev for Kazakhstan, focused on enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both nations reviewed their bilateral cooperation, touching on areas such as political relations, economic and trade ties, connectivity, and cultural exchanges. The talks emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary exchanges and collaboration in fields like education, information technology, telecommunication, and tourism.

The representatives from both countries expressed satisfaction with the current state of their bilateral relations and agreed to maintain momentum in their cooperation. They committed to expanding trade and economic relations and collaborating closely in multilateral forums. Regional and global issues, including the situations in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, were also key topics of discussion during the consultations.
