Pakistan and Kuwait Agree to Explore New Opportunities in Energy Sector

Islamabad: Pakistan and Kuwait have agreed to explore new opportunities of cooperation in the energy sector. The understanding was reached during a meeting between Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik and Ambassador of Kuwait to Pakistan, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi, held in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister for Petroleum emphasized that relations between Pakistan and Kuwait are based on mutual trust, respect, and a long-term partnership. He expressed Pakistan’s eagerness to enhance cooperation with Kuwait in the petroleum sector and commended the Kuwaiti Ambassador as a “true friend of Pakistan.”

In response, Ambassador Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi acknowledged the recent economic progress in Pakistan and affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to support Pakistan’s development. He reiterated Kuwait’s solidarity with Pakistan, wishing for its prosperity and advancement on all fronts.
