Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan Set Target to Expand Trade Volume to $200 Million: PM

Bishkek: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to expand their bilateral trade volume to $200 million. In a post on his X handle, the Prime Minister described his recent meeting with the Kyrgyz President in Bishkek as fruitful.

According to Radio Pakistan, the leaders of both nations have committed to enhancing connectivity through various means, including road, rail, and air links. They also aim to deepen cooperation in several sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, IT, minerals, agriculture, digital technologies, and infrastructure.

Prime Minister Sharif noted that both countries are focused on strengthening people-to-people ties, with particular emphasis on tourism, sports, education, and cultural exchanges. He expressed confidence in the bright future of Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan relations, highlighting the potential for increased collaboration and mutual growth.
