Pakistan and Qatar Agree to Enhance Security Collaboration

Islamabad: Pakistan and Qatar have agreed to further strengthen collaboration and partnership in the field of internal security. This understanding was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, in Doha.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two sides held detailed discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the security sector and explored ways to further develop the security partnership between Pakistan and Qatar. They also exchanged views on the prevailing regional situation and issues related to regional peace and stability.

During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation with Qatar in the fields of security and other areas of mutual interest. In response, the Qatari Interior Minister expressed that his country places great importance on its relations with Pakistan and will continue working closely to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
