Pakistan and Qatar Pledge to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone call with the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Saturday. The Prime Minister extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the Amir and the people of Qatar on the occasion of Eid ul Adha.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Amir for Qatar’s active diplomacy and constructive role in alleviating tensions between Pakistan and India during the recent crisis. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to expand ties, particularly through mutually beneficial trade and investment initiatives.

The Amir of Qatar warmly returned the Prime Minister’s Eid greetings and extended his best wishes to the people of Pakistan.
