Islamabad: Pakistan and Russia have underscored the importance of enhanced coordination among regional countries to ensure a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan. This consensus emerged during a day-long visit to Pakistan by Zamir Kabulov, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Afghanistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit, Ambassador Zamir Kabulov met with Foreign Secretary Ms. Amna Baloch and later engaged in in-depth discussions with Additional Secretary Ambassador Ahmad Naseem Warraich. The discussions centered around the bilateral relations concerning Afghanistan, with both parties agreeing on the necessity of maintaining engagement for regional stability.

The meetings focused on exchanging views and strategies to support Afghanistan. Both countries emphasized the need for collective regional efforts to promote peace and prosperity in Afghanistan, highlighting the significance of continued dialogue and cooperation in achieving these goals.
