Pakistan and Russia Agree on Enhanced Collaboration in Railway Sector

Islamabad: Pakistan and Russia have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening engagement in the railway sector. This commitment was expressed during a meeting between Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and the Russian Trade Counsellor in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted that Pakistan Railways offers significant opportunities for investment and joint ventures, particularly in railway infrastructure. The discussion underscored the potential for institutional collaboration between the two nations.

The Russian trade counsellor expressed confidence that enhanced institutional collaboration would further strengthen ties between Pakistan and Russia in the railway sector. The meeting marks a step forward in bilateral relations, focusing on infrastructure development and investment opportunities within Pakistan’s railway industry.
