Pakistan and Russia to Strengthen Bilateral Connectivity Through Transport Sector.

Moscow: Pakistan and Russia have agreed to further enhance their bilateral cooperation, particularly in the transport sector. The understanding was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Power, Sardar Awais Leghari, and Russia’s Minister for Transport, Roman Starovoyt, held in Moscow on Tuesday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two ministers positively assessed the prospects of expanding bilateral connectivity, emphasizing that such cooperation would not only benefit Pakistan and Russia but also the entire region. The discussions included a comprehensive review of ongoing and potential projects in the road, rail, and air transport sectors.

Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari expressed his appreciation for the growing cooperation between the two nations and extended an invitation to Roman Starovoyt to visit Pakistan. Both sides agreed to maintain ongoing contacts and to further enhance their cooperation in the future.
