Riyadh: Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, engaged in a strategic meeting with Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah Alsawaha, focusing on enhancing digital cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The discussions emphasized leveraging digital technologies for economic growth and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, Minister Khawaja announced plans to send five Pakistani IT and tech companies to Saudi Arabia every three months. This initiative is designed to facilitate collaboration between Pakistani companies and Saudi Arabia’s advanced digital ecosystem, strengthening cross-border business partnerships.
Minister Alsawaha highlighted the importance of the initiative, expressing a commitment to potentially double or triple the collaboration. Discussions also covered fostering startups, advancing technology transfer, and launching capacity-building programs aimed at accelerating regional digital growth.
