Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Discuss Enhanced Defence Collaboration

Rawalpindi: Chief of General Staff Saudi Armed Forces, General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al Ruwaili, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, in Rawalpindi to discuss mutual interests, particularly focusing on the strategic military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions emphasized the importance of enhancing defence collaboration, security cooperation, and counter-terrorism efforts, which are fundamental aspects of the bilateral relationship. General Al Ruwaili expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s cooperation with the Saudi Armed Forces in various fields and reiterated his commitment to strengthening the ties.

During his visit, General Al Ruwaili laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and received a Guard of Honour from a contingent of the Pakistan Army.
